TECHNOLOGY power house Huawei Middle East is at GITEX Technology Week 2017 to foster an ecosystem of trusted partners, vendors, and resellers who can lay down the foundations for a Better Connected World. In line with this mission, the ICT vendor says it will use its appearance at GITEX to host the second Middle East Innovation Day.
According to Huawei, the panel discussion will invite industry experts, scholars, and policymakers to envision how digital transformation will shape the future and share their views on how enterprises will benefit.
Digitalisation is sweeping across the Middle East, revolutionising how governments, enterprises, and consumers interact with one another,” says Alaa ElShimy, managing director and vice president, Enterprise Business, Huawei Middle East. “The leadership of the Middle East has clearly demonstrated their understanding of the pressing need to embrace these changes through their national agendas, which call for a regional move towards a digital economy. ElShimy says Huawei believes its portfolio of solutions can be of assistance and at GITEX 2017, the company will offer an open platform to demonstrate how it will collaborate with customers and partners to pave the road to digital transformation.
As one of the largest ICT expos in the world and a gathering place for the Middle East’s government and industry leaders, GITEX is an ideal event for Huawei to showcase our innovative products and solutions,” he says. “Huawei is one of the top global ICT vendors, and regional leaders in both network and hardware offerings.”
ElShimy says in addition to displaying solutions which are already available on the market, Huawei will take the opportunity to launch a few of exciting new products.
